Kiev Is Not Ready for an Offensive, But Has No Alternative: The Times

The Ukrainian army will have to launch an offensive, whether it is ready for it or not, as its future support from the West depends on it. This was reported by The Times.

According to the newspaper, Kiev must demonstrate a "return on investment" during the planned counter-offensive.

The New York Times noted that without significant successes from the Ukrainian armed forces on the battlefield, Western support for Ukraine could weaken.

Previously, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, stated that the Russian Armed Forces' General Staff is preparing its decisions related to the Ukrainian armed forces’ preparations for an offensive.
