Video: International Fact-Finding Mission Must Be Deployed Urgently, Says Pashinyan
Concrete and genuine efforts are required to prevent further escalation of the situation and to achieve a comprehensive settlement. Alongside these efforts, the need for a broader international presence in Nagorno-Karabakh and the Lachin corridor becomes more pressing each day. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.
“Azerbaijan’s efforts to turn Nagorno-Karabakh into a new prison for Armenians must be halted, and the only reliable way to do this is through the presence of representatives with a broad international mandate in Nagorno-Karabakh. As a first step, it is essential to deploy an urgent international fact-finding mission to the Lachin corridor and Nagorno-Karabakh,” Pashinyan added.
