Head-on Collision Between Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Opel Vehicles Results in Fatality

A fatal accident occurred on the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway, leading to the death of a citizen. This was reported in a press release by the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

On April 27, at 16:58, the Tavush regional crisis management center received a call reporting that a traffic accident had taken place on the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway, and there were people injured, requiring the assistance of rescuers.

A firefighting and rescue team was dispatched from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the scene of the accident.

It was discovered that at kilometer 12 of the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway, a collision occurred between a 1997 model Opel Astra F (driver: A. H., born in 1967) and a 1997 model Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (driver: G. K., born in 1997). Emergency medical personnel confirmed the death of A. H.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicles from the power supply, secured the area, removed the body from the vehicle, and transported it to the vehicle for transferring the body.
