Prigozhin States When Ukraine’s Counteroffensive Will Happen

The founder of the Wagner private military company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has reported that a "bloody battle" is currently ongoing in Bakhmut (known in Ukrainian as Artemivsk).

According to him, well-equipped units of the Ukrainian armed forces are being sent to Bakhmut today. "If I previously stated that there were few mercenaries, now their numbers are enormous," said Prigozhin.

Yevgeny Prigozhin also mentioned that the Ukrainian army will likely launch a powerful counteroffensive after May 2. "What is happening now? It’s raining; the last rain, according to meteorologists, will fall on May 2, and then it will take a few days for the wind to dry the ground. After that, they (Ukrainian servicemen) can move forward," Prigozhin said.

The founder of the Wagner private military company also reiterated his condemnation of the Russian military leaders, stating that Wagner troops are not receiving munitions in sufficient quantities.
