Defense Ministry Updates on the Health Condition of Serviceman Injured on April 13

The Defense Ministry has reported a positive dynamics in the health condition of a serviceman injured on April 13.

“The serviceman's condition is now assessed as moderate, and his life is not in danger,” said Defense Ministry spokesman Aram Torosyan to Armenia Today.

Previously, the Defense Ministry reported that according to preliminary data, serviceman G.S. sustained a gunshot wound from his assigned weapon on April 13. Later, the Investigative Committee stated that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident of the soldier's injury.

According to the Investigative Committee, he sustained a gunshot wound to the head on April 13 while at his combat position with his assigned weapon. The serviceman has been transferred to the garrison hospital, where his condition was assessed as serious.
