VIDEO: Wildberries Employees Strip to Underwear for Inspections
Employees at Wildberries branches in Russia begin their workday by stripping down to their underwear. According to the Russian news outlet Life, workers in the warehouse disrobe at the start of their shifts. This practice is standard for Wildberries employees, although it may be shocking for the general public.
Under the company’s regulations, employees must undress down to their underwear before passing their belongings to inspectors. This process takes place in front of cameras. After disrobing, the staff proceed to inspection points with their clothing and work shoes. Inspectors meticulously examine the clothing and remove prohibited items, which include phones, watches, and any other clothing or items.
It's also noted that employees are only allowed to keep cigarettes, medications, and non-smartphones with them. Additionally, the uniforms have no pockets, and permitted items must be capable of being concealed on the body.
