VIDEO: Methamphetamine, Ecstasy, LSD: What Operation Took Place at the 'Polygraph' Club
The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia is conducting an investigation into the illegal drug trafficking that occurred at the 'Polygraph' club in Yerevan.
According to information from the Investigative Committee, operational details were received by the Police Department of the Republic of Armenia regarding illegal drug sales at the 'Polygraph' club located at 19 A Koryun Street in Yerevan.
As a result of operational-investigative measures, it was determined that various illegal drugs, including Methamphetamine, Ecstasy, LSD, and others were being sold at this club.
A criminal case was initiated on April 14 under Section 1 of Article 393 and Section 1 of Article 396 of the RA Criminal Code at the second investigative department of the Central and Norq Marash administrative districts of the Investigative Committee.
Based on a decision by the pretrial authority, a search was conducted at the 'Polygraph' club on April 23 in collaboration with relevant personnel from the RA Police. During the search, an unknown substance wrapped in red polyethylene tape was discovered and seized from the floor in the middle of the lounge and office area.
Four employees from the club were arrested on suspicions of illegal drug possession and use and were taken to the Central Division of the RA Police. During personal searches, polyethylene packages containing greenish substances, a bottle with ash remnants, a metal container intended for grinding marijuana, and a dropper with a greenish substance were seized.
A total of 41 individuals have been arrested and taken to the Central Division of the RA Police as part of the criminal proceedings. They were interrogated as suspects and then released.
The investigation into the criminal case is ongoing, and necessary examinations have been appointed to determine the composition of the substances found in the possession of these individuals.
