VIDEO: How Police Stormed the "Poligraf" Club - Drugs Discovered

The team at "Poligraf" has released a statement regarding the police raid that took place in the club last night.

"Last night, around 1 AM, the police of the Republic of Armenia stormed Poligraf without presenting any legal grounds. Everyone in the club was forced to lie on the floor and was taken to the police station by force. Our staff and visitors were subjected to brutal beatings and stripped for searches at the police station. We demand justice for all those affected. This is an attack not only on Poligraf but on the entire club community. We are all part of a unique cultural and creative sector that is under threat. This is not just about our right to dance or express ourselves; it is about the very essence of our society. We are part of a community that promotes creativity, diversity, and inclusion. Yet, we are now under assault. The forces that seek to suppress our way of life threaten our existence. They attempt to silence our voices, stifle our creativity, and impose their narrow worldview on us. We cannot allow this to happen.

We call upon all clubs and entertainment venues, local and international community representatives, artists, and everyone who shares our values to stand up with us and raise their voices against this injustice. Sign the attached petition and spread our words. We demand that the illegally sealed doors of Poligraf be opened. We will soon inform you all about our further actions."

It is noteworthy that Facebook user Hayk Hovhannisyan posted a video indicating that the footage captures the moment of police action.

According to Shamshyan.com, police officers detained about 40 individuals from the mentioned location, with many allegedly found in possession of various types of drugs, suspicious items, and cold weapons. When the police arrived at the club based on received operational information and began their actions, several security staff, who claimed to be the replacements for "Rambo," attempted to obstruct the legal activities of the police. However, when some of the officers sneezed, the security personnel quickly surrendered.

According to media reports, among those detained were also relatives of well-known individuals in society, who attempted to reach the police through their connections to prevent their relatives from being taken to the police station, but all their efforts were in vain; they were transported to the police station orderly and respectfully.
