London Supplies Kyiv with Depleted Uranium Shells

The United Kingdom has sent thousands of shells to Kyiv for the "Challenger 2" tanks, including those made with depleted uranium. This announcement was made by the country's Deputy Defense Minister James Heappey, according to РИА Новости.

“The Ministry of Defense does not track where the Ukrainian troops are striking with depleted uranium shells,” noted the deputy minister.

Heappey stated that the UK is not obligated to help the Ukrainian forces demilitarize the depleted uranium shells. Nevertheless, London is still prepared to provide support to Kyiv within the framework of the Ukrainian conflict, as well as afterward.

Earlier, the UK announced its intention to transfer depleted uranium shells along with the "Challenger" tanks to Ukraine. In response, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that the West has decided to fight against Russia to the last Ukrainian, not merely in words, but in actions.
