VIDEO: 'If we have had casualties in Sotk, it does not mean they are targeting only Sotk,' Sargsyan
In a conversation with reporters at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia Arman Sargsyan noted that the situation on the front line is relatively stable.
"They are not only targeting Sotk; if we have had casualties in Sotk, it does not mean they are only targeting Sotk. The situation on our border is relatively stable. It will be the same, and if there are any changes, we will issue a corresponding statement," Sargsyan said.
Referring to the village of Tegh, the deputy minister mentioned, "All information regarding the village of Tegh has been provided, and there have been no changes in that area. If there are any changes, relevant information will be provided."
When asked if we can say that demarcation work is being carried out at least in the Tegh area, Sargsyan stated, "In general, demarcation work is being carried out by the relevant inter-agency commission, which is specifically tasked with demarcation and delimitation. There are border guards in that area, as well as representatives of the armed forces."
Arman Sargsyan said he cannot confidently assert that Azerbaijan is preparing the ground for a new aggression. For further details, see the video.
