Azerbaijan and Georgia Sign Military Cooperation Agreement
On April 24, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov met with the Minister of Defense of Georgia, Juansher Burchuladze, who is on an official visit to Baku. Azerbaijani media report this.
According to the official statement, the parties discussed ensuring peace and security in the region, as well as expanding cooperation in military, military-technical, and military-educational spheres, along with other issues of mutual interest. The development prospects of bilateral and trilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia were also discussed, and there was an in-depth exchange of ideas regarding increasing the intensity of joint exercises and working meetings.
