In the Jrarat community of the Armavir region, construction works are underway for the weightlifting sports school named after Simon Martirosyan, a world and European champion and Olympic silver medalist. The project is expected to be completed by August. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan shared this information on his Facebook page and posted a video.

"The government allocated 394 million drams for the implementation of the project. During the visit, I paid tribute to the memory of the heroes who died in the 44-day war," he wrote.
