BMW Crashes into Famous Shepherd Zvart Gabrielyan's Flock in Shirak, 20 Sheep Dead
Today, April 21, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Shirak region. At approximately 14:30, a 23-year-old resident of Shirak, Serob Kh., crashed his BMW 325 into a flock of sheep on the 93 km section of the Yerevan-Gyumri-Bavra highway.
According to the initial reports from photo journalist Shamshyan.com, fortunately, there were no human injuries; however, about 20 sheep were killed on the spot.
Enhanced service was carried out by patrol officers Arman Aivazyan, Grigor Ghazaryan, Garik Kocharyan, and Ishkhan Garibyan on-site, as the road had become impassable. Thanks to the timely actions of the patrol officers, further accidents were averted.
The driver was subjected to a sobriety test at the scene and was found to be sober.
