Fire Breaks Out in Construction Site in Kapan; Several Injured

On April 19, at 11:02 AM, the Syunik regional crisis management center received a report of smoke observed in the central area between buildings 16 and 18 on Hunan Avetisyan Street in Kapan.

A fire and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was discovered that workers performing construction activities had burned resin, which led to the ignition; the fire self-extinguished.

Three workers sustained burns.
