Drama in Nubarashen: Man Threatens Suicide After Leaving Girlfriend's House

Today, on April 19, an emergency incident took place in Yerevan. At around 04:45, the national center for crisis management received a call reporting that a resident of one of the buildings in the Nubarashen administrative district was threatening to commit suicide while smoke was visible from a window.

It was found that a resident of the third floor of building 11 on Nubarashen Street was breaking furniture inside and threatening to harm himself.

According to Shamshyan.com, negotiations lasted about 2 hours in an attempt to dissuade the man from taking this step, but he started throwing items out of the window after breaking the glass. After some time, the smoke became more apparent, then the door of the house opened, and at that moment, the man fell down the stairs.

Police, medical personnel, and rescuers at the scene began to provide necessary assistance, and then the patrol officers of the first battalion's third company of the RA Police escorted him to the burn center in an ambulance.

Several citizens gathered at the scene, who refused to speak in front of the cameras, stated that prior to this incident, the man had gone to his girlfriend's house, made threats against her, and then returned to the aforementioned apartment to carry out such actions.

The man is identified as 44-year-old H.A. from Nubarashen, known for his tendencies towards alcohol.
