Stabbing Incident in Front of American University: Victims Reported

Today, on April 18, stabbings occurred in Yerevan. Around 13:30, the Arabkir division of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call from the "Slavmed" medical center reporting that a citizen with "a penetrating stab wound to the right side" and "a stab wound to the front part of the neck" had been brought in for treatment.

While doctors were fighting for the life of the injured, police established that he was a 27-year-old Yerevan resident named Arsen M. Meanwhile, a report came in from the "Nairi" medical center to the Arabkir police that a citizen with a "stab wound to the left flank, with bleeding" had been admitted for care.

Investigations revealed that the victim was 43-year-old Karen K., also a Yerevan resident. Around 12:50 p.m., Arsen M., along with 32-year-old Tigran K. and another individual whose identity is still being determined, arrived in a vehicle used by Arsen M. near the American University of Armenia located at 40 Baghramyan Street, where they were met by 29-year-old Ruben G., along with Karen K. and two other individuals whose identities remain unknown.

During a dispute that arose over a domestic issue in the university's courtyard, an unidentified individual assaulted Karen K. with a sharp cutting instrument, causing bodily harm. Additionally, Ruben G., a participant in the fight, struck Arsen M. with a sharp object, after which all involved fled the scene.
