Arman Avagyan Advances to Semifinals at Wrestling European Championship

Arman Avagyan, competing in the 79kg category, has made a successful start at the European Wrestling Championship, taking place in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. He began his journey in the 1/8 finals, where he achieved a 5-1 victory over Bulgarian wrestler Mihail Georgiev.

In the 1/4 finals, Arman will face the winner of the match between Saifedin Alekma (France) and Maxim Vasilioglu (Romania).

Earlier, we reported that in the 57kg category, Manvel Khndzrtsyan faced defeat in his opening match.

Additionally, it has been announced that U23 World Champion Vazgen Tevanyan has also progressed to the semifinals. In the quarterfinals for the 65kg category, Tevanyan secured a 4-1 victory against Azerbaijani Ali Radimzadeh.
