Dozens of Georgian and Uzbek Drivers Strike in Germany

Dozens of Georgian and Uzbek drivers continue their strike in Germany. According to local media reports, 63 trucks belonging to a Polish company are stranded in Hesse. The drivers refuse to work until they receive two months' unpaid wages.

Today, the situation escalated when the head of the transportation company approached them and, along with subordinates, attempted to forcibly take the vehicles. As a result, German police arrested him and 19 others.

German unions support the striking drivers. Media reports indicate that other drivers and politicians have come to express their solidarity and bring food.
