VIDEO: Unrest in Sudan as Airports Taken Under Control

In Sudan, conflict has erupted between the Regular Army and Rapid Response Forces, starting at 9:30 local time, according to the Telegram channel fresh news.

According to reports, representatives of the Rapid Response Forces have stated that they have taken control of Khartoum International Airport and the airport in Merowe. They claim that the army has suffered significant losses. Clashes are occurring in several cities.

Tourists and citizens are advised to stay indoors and avoid going out.

Shooting has also been reported near the presidential palace in the northern part of Sudan's capital.
