Arthur Davtyan Wins Bronze Medal

Arthur Davtyan won a bronze medal in the parallel bars event at the European Championships in artistic gymnastics. During the finals held in Antalya, Turkey, the world and European champion scored 14.266 points.

The bronze medalist from the Tokyo Olympic Games had also qualified with the same score of 14.266 points. The title of European champion was won for the second time by Irishman Rhys McClenaghan, who is also the reigning world champion in the parallel bars event, scoring 14.666 points. The silver medal was claimed by Maxim Dzhenges from Belgium with a score of 14.566 points.

It is noteworthy that on April 24, 2021, in Basel, Switzerland, Arthur Davtyan became the gold medalist in this event at the European Championships.

The finals for the rings event will take place shortly, where Vahagn Davtyan and Arthur Avetisyan will compete for medals. Vahagn Davtyan qualified for the finals with a score of 14.800, placing second, while Arthur Avetisyan qualified fifth with a score of 14.666.

On April 16, Arthur Davtyan will also participate in the vault final, where he qualified with the highest score of 15.066, as the reigning world champion in this event. In the all-around finals held on April 13, Arthur Davtyan finished in fourth place.
