Summer Draft Dates Announced

The government made a decision during its meeting today, April 13, to announce the summer draft for mandatory military service in 2023 and to carry out discharges.

The draft is scheduled to take place from June 26 to July 31, 2023, while the discharge of servicemen who have completed mandatory military service will occur from June 15 to July 31, 2023. This is in line with the government’s previous decision during the 2021 summer draft, which also took place from June 15 to July 31, 2021.

It is noteworthy that the announcement of the draft for mandatory military service is made by the government’s decision at least twice a year.
