US President Joe Biden has shown disrespect towards UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak by pushing him aside during a meeting at a military airport near Belfast. This was reported by the Daily Mail, which released footage of the encounter between Sunak and Biden at the airport.

The video shows Biden shoving Sunak aside to greet the King's representative in Antrim County, David McGorkel, immediately after a brief greeting with the British Prime Minister. Following this, Biden embraced Jane Hartley, the US Ambassador to the UK.

Many have perceived the incident as an insulting diplomatic gesture, noting that the US President pushed aside the UK Prime Minister right after his arrival. The report also highlights that this left Sunak in an awkward position.

Earlier reports indicated that Biden's visit to Northern Ireland coincided with the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Belfast Agreement.
