Iran Supplies Weapons to Syria Under the Guise of Humanitarian Aid
Tehran sent humanitarian aid planes to Syrian territory after the February 6 earthquake to transport military equipment. Iran has supplied weapons and military technology to Syria under the pretext of providing assistance during the earthquake. This was reported by korrespondent.net, referencing Reuters.
It is noted that Tehran's goal is to strengthen its forces in Syrian territory, acting against Israel, as well as to support President Bashar al-Assad's regime. A significant amount of ammunition has been transferred. This accounts for the increased activity of attacks attributed to Israel on Syria's airports and weapons warehouses that have occurred at the end of winter and during the first two months of spring.
