US Sees No Signs of Egypt Supplying Weapons to Russia: White House
The United States is not seeing any signs that Egypt is supplying weapons to the Russian Federation, according to John Kirby, the strategic communications coordinator for the National Security Council, during a press briefing. This was reported by TASS.
Kirby commented on claims regarding Cairo's plans to sell missiles to Moscow. “I can tell you that we have not seen any signs that Egypt is providing lethal weapons to Russia,” Kirby stated.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, commented on reports in American media that Egypt allegedly planned to secretly send up to 40,000 missiles to Russia. The Kremlin spokesman denied these reports.
