VIDEO: Three foreign nationals arrested with 700 kg of cocaine in Russia

The Federal Security Service of Russia has reported the arrest of two Colombians and a citizen from a European Union country in the outskirts. They were found in possession of a significant quantity of cocaine. This information was shared by the Mash Telegram channel.

According to the FSB, 'at the time of arrest, the individuals who arrived in Russia were found to be carrying 699 kg of cocaine.'

'To carry out the crime, the drug couriers used a rented warehouse. Employing means of secrecy, they carefully repackaged the prohibited goods to avoid detection at state border checkpoints,' the report states.

According to the agency, the cocaine shipment was mainly intended for sale in EU countries, with plans to sell part of it in Russia.

Experts from the FSB estimated that such a shipment would be worth approximately 2.5 billion rubles (30.8 million dollars) on the black market.

A criminal case has been initiated against the arrested individuals, all of whom have been detained.
