VIDEO. Burned and Destroyed Bakhmut: The City is Unrecognizable
The city of Bakhmut in Ukraine's Donetsk region is devastated and burned. For over a year, Russia and Ukraine have been engaged in intense battles in Bakhmut. The aftermath of these battles is clearly visible in the footage that has emerged.
Recall that on February 24 of last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the commencement of a "special operation" in Ukraine.
