Ukrainian Defense Minister Could Have Been Captured

The Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov has revealed that at the beginning of the special operation, he had a narrow escape from being captured by the Russian army in Hostomel. The politician shared this insight with the news outlet 'Ukrayinska Pravda'.

According to him, the command post (ZKP) that Ukrainian high-ranking officials were supposed to operate from was located in Hostomel, where a significant landing of Russian paratroopers took place.

“Theoretically, if we had moved there even for one or two days, half of my service would have been there: almost in captivity,” Reznikov stated.
