VIDEO: "The Most Difficult Negotiations Are Better Than War" - Vardanian
Ruben Vardanian, the former Prime Minister of Artsakh, continues to answer questions from citizens directed at him. One of the questions concerns whether it is possible to resolve the Artsakh issue through negotiations or if it is inevitable to resort to war.
Vardanian responded, "The most difficult, the hardest negotiations are better than war. I am confident that we can achieve our goal through negotiations, but at the same time, looking at the pages of history, I am certain that if we are not strong, not prepared for war, and do not show spirit and will, no negotiation will succeed. Negotiations and agreements will work only when the other side knows it has no right to violate the agreements."
