Football Club Fans in Tabriz Display Turkish Nationalist Gestures
In Tabriz, Iran, fans of the Tractor football club have organized another provocation. During the game, they displayed Turkish nationalist gestures and shouted the famous words of Atatürk: "How happy is he who says, 'I am a Turk.'" Many of the fans brought balloons in the colors of the Azerbaijani flag to the stands. This has been portrayed in Azerbaijan as a 'protest action against the Iranian regime.'
