Women from Artsakh March Towards Area Blocked by Azerbaijanis
A group of women in Stepanakert laid flowers at the gravestones of fallen soldiers at 12:00 PM. After paying their respects, they moved towards an area known as Zarun Bag (Shosh-Shushi junction), which is blocked by Azerbaijanis. This location is 2 km away from the brotherly cemetery. The march is ongoing.
Participants of the march are chanting in Russian and English, demanding: “Ensure our right to free movement,” “Open the Lachin corridor,” and “Armenian identity of Artsakh has no alternative.”
It should be noted that on the morning of December 12, a group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothes closed the Stepanakert-Goris highway, which connects Artsakh to Armenia, citing environmental reasons in the area of the Shushi-Karin Tak intersection.
