Wagner Forces Capture Bakhmut City Administration Building

Analysts from the American Institute for the Study of War have confirmed reports from Russian sources that Wagner forces have captured the city administration building in Bakhmut.

"Wagner is likely to continue attempting to consolidate control over the central part of Bakhmut and will try to move west towards the city’s densely populated areas, particularly in the direction of Chasiv Yar," the institute noted. ISW added that representatives from the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirm that Russian regular troops, specifically airborne forces, are increasingly active in Bakhmut alongside Wagner fighters.
