Head of Yerevan Municipality Health Department Dismissed

The head of the Health Department of the Yerevan Municipality, Yakov Asatryan, has ceased his official duties as of today. He announced this on his Facebook page.

"It has been a great honor to assume the high responsibility of managing the health organizations of Yerevan over the past 11 months. I believe that teamwork has ensured the development of the sector, and it will be continuous, with community medical organizations providing the best services to our population in the near future. I would like to thank my friend, Deputy Mayor Gevorg Simonian, for his substantial coordination efforts, as well as former Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan for emphasizing and supporting the importance of the sector," he wrote.

"I will continue my professional activities at the Yerevan Municipality," he added.
