Alen Simonyan's Spokesperson Responds to Arman Musinyan's Statement
The spokesperson of the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, Tsovinar Khachatryan, has responded to the statement made by the spokesperson of the first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Arman Musinyan. In particular, she noted:
“In response to Arman Musinyan's comments, the National Assembly Speaker's post once again highlights the disconnect from reality that, unfortunately, has not been restored at some point. It is regrettable that the obsolescence, simplicity, and impoverishment of perceptions have apparently not been subject to reconsideration in any way.
We hope that after reading the Speaker of the National Assembly's post, he will answer the question of whether the first President of Armenia is ready to visit the only body endowed with primary mandate—the National Assembly of Armenia—for discussions regarding the greatest damage inflicted on the state's credit during history.
Let us be optimistic that the first President of Armenia will accept the invitation and respond in a reasonable timeframe; in this regard, the spokesperson may need to utilize all of his talents and reserves,” she wrote.
