Cameras have captured the moment of a powerful explosion in a café in St. Petersburg. According to law enforcement authorities, the explosion had a force equivalent to more than 200 grams of TNT.
Judging by the footage, the explosion was so strong that fragments of the café's glass were found under the wheels of passing cars on the adjacent street.
As previously reported, an explosion occurred at the "Street Bar" café in St. Petersburg. The blast resulted in the death of military commentator Vladlen Tatarsky (real name: Maxim Fomin).
At the time of the explosion, a creative evening featuring Vladlen Tatarsky was taking place at the venue. According to one theory, the explosive device was hidden in a figurine that was gifted to Tatarsky by one of the event participants.
A witness to the explosion at the café told "Izvestia" that a girl had presented a figurine to Vladlen Tatarsky during the creative evening, which later exploded.
According to Russian media, the girl who brought the figurine has been arrested.
