Russia Will Defend Its Rights 'By All Available Means' - Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree approving the "Foreign Policy Concept of the Russian Federation." This document outlines the priority areas, goals, and objectives of the country's international activities.
The document states that amidst the unfriendly actions from the West, Russia will continue to develop and will defend its rights "by all available means." According to the concept, the United States is considered the primary source of threats both for Moscow and the entire world.
It mentions that Russia intends to eliminate the "foundations of Washington's and its allies' dominance," and instead of cooperating with Western countries, Moscow is now only interested in peaceful coexistence. Russia also aims to prevent the outbreak of nuclear war.
The document emphasizes that Russia will build its relationships with other states considering their policies towards Moscow and is prepared to use the country's armed forces both to defend against aggression towards itself or its allies and to prevent it.
Furthermore, Russia is ready to provide assistance to its allies and partners, regardless of their international recognition, develop military cooperation with allies to strengthen regional security, and prevent hostile countries from intervening in Russia and its partners' relations.
