After 30 years, 'Korea Valley' has finally been cleared of construction debris. This was reported by Facebook user Narine Balayan.

“Our struggle over the past months was not in vain. Unfortunately, due to the inability to find common ground, we had to resort to the court, but in the end, we were able to resolve the issue through the judiciary. Our neighbor is even willing to publicly apologize for the disturbances and insults caused,” she wrote, accompanying her post with photographs.

It should be noted that during a meeting at the Yerevan Municipality on March 27, Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan mentioned that they had written to the police regarding the dumping of construction waste in Korea Valley, and there had been a prompt response. However, he is now receiving reports that this process continues and has not completely ceased.

Mayor's advisor Kamo Areyan also pointed out, “During this time, the public order maintenance service has done its best, while the participation and work of GASK has been quite inadequate in this area. The construction permits specify where the builder should relocate the construction waste. However, with weak oversight in this area, builders did not acquire the necessary vigilance. Last week, I personally visited these dumping sites; the heads of the administrative districts have considerably weakened the monitoring activities, and people have begun to take advantage of the situation.”
