Parents of Fallen Soldiers Marching to Syunik
Parents of soldiers who died in the 44-day war, along with several public and political figures, are set to march today from Yerablur to Syunik. They aim to determine how Azerbaijani armed forces have invaded sovereign Armenian territory and why the Berdzor corridor remains closed, despite the International Court of The Hague mandating Azerbaijan to open it immediately.
Among the participants in the peaceful action heading toward Syunik is Naira Melikyan, the mother of Hayk Melikyan, who was killed in the 44-day war. In an interview with MediaHub, she stated that they will attempt to reach the Berdzor corridor. “We need to get to the Armenian checkpoint located in the village of Tegh in Syunik and try to cross... We also need to see how deeply the enemy has penetrated Armenian territory,” she said.
