Owner of 'Nor Zovk' LLC to Remain in Custody

The owner of 'Nor Zovk' LLC, Aram Aramyam, has had his appeal against his detention rejected by the Court of Appeal. This information has been confirmed by the judicial department.

Aramyan will continue to remain in custody.

It is worth recalling that a criminal case has been initiated by the Armenian Investigative Committee's Main Investigation Department for Economic Crimes and Smuggling due to alleged tax fraud committed by 'Nor Zovk' LLC. This case involves showing significantly reduced turnover through the use of information technologies to evade tax obligations.

Based on the substantial evidence obtained during the extensive pre-trial investigation, the owner of 'Nor Zovk' LLC and two employees have been charged under Article 290, parts 1 and 2 of the Armenian Criminal Code for committing criminal acts, while the owner of the company providing software support is charged with assisting in the commission of these criminal acts.
