An Iranian Falls 8 Meters in Lori and is Hospitalized Due to Cardiac Arrest; Doctors Save His Life
On March 29, doctors at the "Tashir" medical center saved a citizen's life, reports shamshyan.com. According to the source, around 10:00 AM, an ambulance team from the "Tashir" Medical Center transported a patient diagnosed with "polytrauma, closed brain injury, internal abdominal bleeding, cardiac arrest" to the hospital.
At the hospital, the doctors informed the police that the injured individual was unable to provide an explanation regarding the incident due to the critical condition he was in; he was undergoing surgery.
Doctors at the "Tashir" Medical Center first managed to restore cardiac function and then fought for several hours between life and death for his survival. Once they saw that the patient had emerged from the critical state, he was transferred by a reanimobile to the "Vanadzor Medical Center," from which he was flown by ambulance helicopter to one of the hospitals in Yerevan.
Police in the Tashir division established that the injured individual is Mehdi Bakhtiarin, a 37-year-old citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It was found that on the same day, around 9:40 AM, while working on construction being carried out by "Nazaryan Cooling Systems" LLC on the right side of the Tashir-Metsavan highway at the 3rd km point, he fell from a height of about 8 meters and sustained the aforementioned injuries. The source also reports that an investigation has been initiated regarding the incident to determine whether safety regulations were being followed at the company in question or if there was neglect.
