Two Young Men Clash with Security Personnel Near Republican Stadium

On March 28, near the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan, two young men engaged in a dispute with a security worker, according to the press service of the police.

The community police of the Central Division of the police detained and presented two men, aged 32 and 34, on suspicion of hooliganism in the vicinity of the stadium.

“It was revealed that near the stadium gates, they had a heated argument with the security personnel, hurled insults, and displayed disrespectful behavior towards each other, while the security worker struck the 34-year-old man,” the statement read.

Thanks to the explanatory work of the criminal investigators, the security personnel presented themselves to the division. The compiled documents have been submitted to the investigative body.
