“New devices for checking the light transmittance of vehicle windows have been acquired by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which are currently undergoing the calibration process. Let me remind you that our legislation regulates not only the light transmittance of the windshield but also that of the front side windows, as is the case in many countries around the world. The windows of the driver’s and front passenger's doors must have at least 70% light transmittance; therefore, drivers should ensure that their vehicles comply with these requirements to avoid administrative penalties.”
