Video: Shooting at a School in Nashville, USA Leaves Casualties

At least six people, including the shooter, have been killed in a shooting at a private Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, according to The New York Times, citing a representative from the local hospital.

The local police department announced via Twitter that the shooter was killed during an attempted arrest. Reports indicate that three children with gunshot wounds were hospitalized, but doctors have already declared them deceased.

According to some sources, the shooter—a female armed with two rifles and a handgun—also killed three adults. "The police took action against the shooter, who consequently died," stated a message on the police Twitter page.

Nashville's fire department has reported "multiple casualties," though the exact number has not been confirmed. It is noted that a local church has set up a "reunion area" where parents can pick up their children who were at the school.

WKRN News reports that at least four individuals have died, including the shooter. The publication's source stated that the three children injured in the shooting have been transported to the hospital but were unable to be saved.

According to the school's website, Covenant has approximately 195 to 210 students up to the sixth grade.
