VIDEO: Louvre Employees Join Protests in Paris
The Louvre, one of the largest museums in the world, has halted operations due to a strike by unions. Participants in the action are demanding the abolition of pension reforms.
According to media reports, among the demonstrators were cultural sector workers as well as employees of the Louvre.
According to the Ministry of Interior, 119,000 people participated in the largest march in Paris. This marks a record level of mobilization against the reforms since the beginning of the protest movement.
