Video: First Clashes Erupt in Israel Between Reform Supporters and Opponents
Clashes have erupted in Israel between supporters and opponents of judicial reforms. Protesters have so far blocked major streets in central Jaffa. According to RTVI's correspondent, there is a heavy police presence in the city.
It is noteworthy that demonstrations against the judicial reforms initiated by Netanyahu's government have been ongoing for several months in Israel. These reforms aim to limit the powers of the Supreme Court and grant the executive branch greater control over the selection of judges. The opposition argues that this reform undermines the democratic foundations of the state.
