Support for Families of 57 Missing Soldiers Extended, Monthly 300,000 Dram

In a bid to ensure the continuity of social support for families of missing servicemen, the government approved a decision during its meeting today, March 23. The provision of support to the families of 57 soldiers classified as missing—amounting to a monthly allowance of 300,000 dram—was halted as of March 1, 2023. In light of current circumstances, it is proposed to extend the payment period until the end of April 2023.

Additionally, another decision was made to continue the process of providing social support to families of civilians who are missing, as well as those of captives.
