Armenia Appeals to Rosatom to Inspect Chemical Enterprises in the Country
Armenia has appealed to Rosatom, requesting the inspection of chemical enterprises located within its territory for potential dismantling. This was reported by РИА Новости, citing Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko of Russia.
It is noted that Rosatom is currently engaged in the dismantling of the former chemical plant in Usolye-Sibirskoye, Irkutsk region.
Earlier, Victoria Abramchenko stated that the work being carried out on the site of that plant is unique in global practice and that this experience will enable Russia to offer hazardous waste disposal services abroad.
The media reports that Rosatom has exceptional qualifications for the disposal of hazardous waste in industrial enterprises.
