Parents to Evaluate Educators through Anonymous Surveys

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of the Republic of Armenia has approved the anonymous evaluation questionnaire for preschool educational institution educators, which will be filled out by parents.

The anonymous questionnaires consist of characteristic questions that allow parents to assess educators by revealing how well they understand the needs of students and how closely they collaborate with families, among other factors.

It should be noted that the anonymous questionnaire filled out by parents is one of nine characteristics established by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport in the order dated March 23, 2023. The following characteristics are defined:

1. Higher education corresponding to the occupied position.
2. Involvement as a training specialist in the educational organization that provides retraining for preschool education professionals, guaranteed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport.
3. Authorship or co-authorship of educational or methodological manuals related to preschool education within the last five years, guaranteed by the Ministry.
4. Indicators from inspections by the Education Inspectorate or external evaluations within the last three years.
