Five People Assault Man and Woman in Kasakh; Both Hospitalized

In the village of Kasakh, near a building on A. Martirosyan Street, five residents of the village physically assaulted the driver and passenger of a Mercedes vehicle. This information was reported by the press service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

It was noted that the incident was reported to the Armenia Medical Center on March 21 at 15:00.

"It was discovered that at 13:00, near a building on A. Martirosyan Street in Kasakh, five residents of the village stopped a Mercedes vehicle and assaulted the 33-year-old driver and 55-year-old female passenger, causing bodily injuries as well as damaging the car’s windshield and windows. A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of hooliganism," the report stated.

As a result of operational investigative measures undertaken by the police, two young individuals aged 28 and 20 involved in the incident were identified, arrested, and presented to the investigative department of Nairi. The criminal proceedings are ongoing.
