Cynical Politics Confirmed by the 'Guardian' Statement that 'They Will Turn Us into Kebab': Babayan
Artsakh has been under blockade for 100 days. However, in essence, Artsakh has been under blockade for several decades, politically, diplomatically, and morally. This was stated by David Babayan, special advisor and representative of the President of Artsakh, in an interview with NEWS.am.
“But we will endure, we must. Azerbaijan is currently disregarding morality and international law norms; it is simply conducting cynical politics. The recent confirmation of this is the so-called ‘guardian’ statement made by official Baku, declaring that ‘they will turn us into kebab.’ On one hand, 100 days is not a long time; on the other, every minute feels like eternity. But we have to persevere, because the question here is about our future, about whether we will deserve to be called a people, Armenians, and simply human beings. Any trial that is given not only to an individual but to a nation is provided by God, to overcome it. We must overcome, as this is the mission of each of us and of the people as a whole. It is regrettable that the international community is indifferent to the suffering of Artsakh. But that does not mean that if the virus is not stopped now, it will not spread elsewhere. We are under blockade, but we have no place to retreat,” stated David Babayan.
