Peskov on Information Regarding Ban of iPhones in the Russian Presidential Administration

The spokesperson for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, has stated that he cannot confirm information regarding a ban on iPhones in the presidential administration. He made this announcement to journalists. The information was reported by gazeta.ru.

“Smartphones cannot be used for official purposes. Any smartphone is a transparent mechanism,” he said.

Earlier, it was reported that employees of the administration's domestic policy block were instructed to dispose of iPhone smartphones by April 1 of this year for security reasons.
